What Happened

VOT Radio station on A9 road, the road section, and nearby homes bombed at 4:30pm. 3 VOT employees killed. 7 more civilians (in homes and on A9 road) killed. 10 seriously injured. VOT building and equipment destroyed. Attack on Tamil Heroes' Day - VOT plays crucial role in broadcasting event. UNESCO condemned attack.
