What Happened
The last rituals of the two civilians killed in the aerial bombing of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Kfir jets on Thursday at A'lampil in Mullaiththeevu district, were held with a large number of local residents in attendance, Thursday. A 16-year-old boy and an old woman were killed in the attack. The bodies were taken to the Community Development Center of A'lampil and kept there for public viewing. After that, both the bodies were buried at the Mullaiththeevu Christian Cemetery. Hundreds of people participated in this event and paid their last respects to the victims. Rev. Fr. S. Nesan, the Parish Priest from the neighboring St. Annai Velankanni delivered the speech of condolence.
