What Happened

First aerial bombing since 2002 ceasefire. Navy, Army and Air Force staged combined 4+ hour attack on Tamil civilian settlements. 12 civilians crushed to death including 3 children (aged 4, 15, 16). 3000 families displaced. 25 civilians injured. SLMM and UNICEF involved.
