What Happened
On 27.09.1996, Sri Lankan Air Force bombed Konavil village. 6 Tamil civilians were killed in the aerial attack. The bombing destroyed homes and killed families. The attack was part of the Air Force's campaign of bombing Tamil civilian areas in the north.
